Safe distance from baseboard heater for furniture?
My couch is in front of a baseboard heater. I've placed two 8" planks on the hardwood behind the legs of the couch so it is 3" clear from the baseboard heater.
I'm finding that it is warm...perhaps possibly a little hot (not burning though). Is this ok? What is a good distance? I don't want to use 10" planks cause then I'm giving up seating distance from the tv. |

Damn. That far? I remeasured, and it is 3.25" clear. I'll check with the heater manufacturer. I'm pretty sure it's ok but wanted to see what others thought. Thanks for the input.
