Economic downturn affects car sales.
This is an short, little and interesting video of how dropping car sales are being affected by the sluggish economy recently. Cars are raking up at ports due to a decrease in auto consumer demand. Just wanted to share it with whomever.
This link should work. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programme...ca/7764066.stm

Interesting link -- thanks.
Ironically, compare that to little pockets here and there -- the 2006s were flying off the BMW lot in Houston for the 3 weeks I was browsing. They would come off the truck, get in line for certification, and often be sold within hours, or at any event before they even got into the shop to be certified. Either that is a sign of booming car sales locally, or else it shows the desirability of a bargain (3.9% and 2 paid months) at about 60% of the new car MSRP in the midst of a downturn. |
