Cobb tuned GT-R runs 11.2 sec. @ 122mph!!!!!

FYI -- we all know that a stock GT-R is a true "budget" supercar, but now we know that a simple ecu tuned GT-R (Cobb ecu flash via OBD-II port????) is an absolute MONSTER!!!!!!

He ran last night at the new Palm Beach Int'l Raceway (Moroso track) and without Launch Control!!!

Shiv has already mentioned adapting the PROcede v3 for the GT-R and I believe he is currently in development on that project.

Funny thing is I just mentioned it to her, and she said, "go ahead, get the GT-R." But, I know what that means...get it but I still want to drive my GL450.

Arghh...can't do both and everything else (including all her extravagant shopping

) in this economy!

So, it will have to wait a while.

btw -- we love our GL450...I drive it almost as much as she does; it's the best SUV on the road today, imho.

Dont get a gtr man unless your bank account is long and willing to pay high repair bills when you do things the car deserves. Esp now NO LC come on NISSAN i love the car but they just keep sticking the knife in deeper and deeper.

FYI i didn't speak to the gtr driver he was a little bitch never even got out of his car had his girl with him waiting in the lanes etc etc im pretty sure he had an ecu with an 11.4 no DRs

Man that sucks. The GL is definitely a fine ride. I tried to convince my dad to get one over an Escalade (we were looking for a family people mover to add to the stable because we all have coupes), but he wouldn't listen. We took a ride in his friend's GL320 CDI and he started regretting his choice.

The GTR is tempting, but I can't take my eyes off the C63 and M3. The C63 is one tune away from 500bhp+.

I'd be tempted by a good lease on the new CTS-V if I wanted a gas guzzler V8 luxury muscle car. 500+ bhp box stock and sub 8 minutes at N'ring!

Yeah, you're probably right. I've already got my mind set on another (MY '10) 335i with the 7-speed DCT tranny if it's available; any mods (if I have any

) will be transferred over to my new car.

+1 on the CTS V.
The I saw the 08 CTS V6, parked at a petrol station....it looks really good and led's in front aint a bad touch either(Original LED's). With 550hp on the CTS-V, it wont be a bad deal either
