Comparison Test: ZR1 vs. GTR (Guess which one wins?)
1st Place: ZR1
"A world-beating supercar that proves GM can still bring it when it puts its resources in the right place" 2nd Place: GTR "Amazing performance for $80k, but it's no longer the fastest supercar on the road" Quote:

Btw I don't know how to link the comparison vid. They haven't put it on youtube yet, so I posted the ZR1 review video.

Both cars are posting some pretty consistent times and speeds now, with Motortrend's trap speeds with 2mph of Edmunds.
Also 406hp would be a little over 15% transmission lose for the GTR and 505hp is a 21% transmission lose for the ZR1, I'm more of the belief that GM's figures of 638hp is fake based on this amount of lose through the drivetrain. And if the GTR had a similar amount of lose that would put it's power at 515hp, a lot close to what I was told by a dealer, now isn't it. |

We'll see a more fair comparison is when the V-Spec comes out.

No Jap will ever dominate an American Muscle... didn't happen 50 years ago, ain't going to happen today...
Argue all you want, but i think the V-spec will be better in some category, but not every category as what the ZR1 just did. |

Is that the part where they shothe wagon wheel steering wheel carry over,,, wtf Chevy,, make a real whell.
Or was that the part where they show the flat soft seats? wtf Chevy make real seats, at least in the top sports car. Or was it the part where they pushed in the bumper like 4 inches with thier finger tip? That was a big wtf part on my end. lolololol |

The ZR1 is an amazing machine, both on performance and price but it just a different way of achieving the way results as the GTR does. Think of it as the M-Division philosophy against AMG, one goes for small engine and high revs while the other goes for capacity, both are right because both achieve the same results. The same go for this. Personally I would pick the GTR, the Vette is too American for me. |

Exactly, I'm holding my breath until then. I doubt Nissan will pull a CSL and not make it because of "lack of demand."
