Kubica cut the chicane, then Massa used the run off area to accelerate (just like Raikkonen did in Spa as well)....they took advantage of the run off area/chicane to gain "advantage"..... (wider corners, higher speed or they can keep the speed and throuttle)..... |

seems like whenever Ferrari and other teams "accidentaly" cut the chicane or used the run off area to keep themselves in the race....the FIA stewards just let it go and rule that they were justified to avoid an accident or so....
but everytime McLaren cut the chicane or used any part that was NOT on the track (Hamilton in France and Spa, Kovolainen in Spa)....they got drive-thru penalty or 25 seconds added on their total race time.... so where do i see ANY consistancy??? the only consistancy was they kept targeting McLaren of ANY little "wrong-doing"..... |

What do you think?
So do you think all other Drivers should be penalized?
in the first picture....I think I saw two Hondas, one Force India, one Renault, one Toro Rosso or Red Bull, and one Ferrari... what about the second.....Kimi seemed to made a dangerous move....Hamilton swerved away from Nico Rosberg rejoining the track, and Kimi apparently took the advantage this time.... Aren't the stewards different at each track? I think the penalty in this case is BS but the idea of some Ferrari-led conspiracy is a stretch.
I will grant you however that neither Ron Dennis nor Lewis Hamilton are very popular at the FIA.

Good read...FIA just shot themselves in the foot (or head in this case).... they want more "over takes"...but the stewards just killed it....now more drivers might opt for "stay safe" and "out of trouble"..... |

I am not sure whether it is a Ferrari led conspiracy or not. However it is not a secret that FIA favors them and every chance FIA get to punish Mclaren they jump on it. Mclaren never had a easy ride with FIA. Yeah it is not a secret that FIA doesn't like Ron Dennis. But he is a hard working man and hats off to the guy who started as a mechanic and now he is a team principal. Also whether FIA like Hamilton or not the bottom line is lot of people all over the world like him and he is one of the best if not the best on the field now. |

until the pre-race meeting when every driver asked the same question, then FIA finally "suggests" to wait for another corner to overtake.... hamilton became the victim to get the ruling clarified.....they should put this on revised Sporting Regulation.... |
