Help On 2008 M6 H8 Installation!

Ive searched and searched, but there is no actual proper e63 or e64 forum. I just cant find the actual bulb, led, or whatever it is to use on the FACE LIFTED m6. Whatever i have found are for up to the 07 body before the face lift. I would appreciate it if anyone would point me in the right direction with this thanks.

I'm in the same dilemma. One of my co-workers just picked up an M6 'vert and wants to upgrade, but come places are saying its just bulbs, some are saying its actual units (ala e90)...

BUMP for anyone that knows!

I tried m6board.com, but its near impossible to pull helpful info for the facelifted cars

yes i know i also tried that forum also. It seems to me that it is just a led that is somehow plugged in kind of like how the e92 uses the h8 bulb.. but according to the forums that led is only for the older m6(before face lift)

For the non facelift, you can do our MyCarr LED OEM Angel Eye Upgrade Kit which is a direct replacement module for your halogen based setup.

All E92s have H8s for the Angel eyes.

If you are talking about a non-facelifted M6, I would go with the the Angel iBrights 3.0. They are plug and play. I have these

same method as you would change it in an E92. Twist the socket, pull out, then insert new bulb. Reading the manual helps at times

I ordered these and are getting them next week...http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

68 LEDS! While there are ones that are going for 200+ it doesn't hurt to try these. Get a load resistor and that error code is gone...

The 2008 e63's (650i's and M6's) use H8 type bulbs. GP thunder 8500l's work and so do the PIAA, RD, etc. LED angel eyes. As for the pre-facelifted 6-series, i would go with the AngeliBright V3's.
