Has anyone done this or is doing this currently? I would be interested in hearing about your experience. I'm in the market for a 2008 335i sedan and am thinking this is the way to go. Did you find that your payments were lower/more affordable using this option? Compared to say traditional leasing or financing?

The payments don't vary too much, but the fact that you don't have to pay taxes at the end of the lease if you want to keep the car is the best.
