No clue why they hid the exhausts on the ICE models. 760i shows that BMW is capable of putting visible exhausts on the ICE variants of a shared platform.

In the next few months, these and other parts for the G60 will flood the market.
I'm glad I can't see anything at the back of my car.

He said the diameter was 10 inches.(!!!) I'm so glad BMW is hiding the exhaust tips on most of their current ICE cars. no exhaust tips is what is keeping me from buying the new 5 series. i hope BMW gets their head straight and include them in 2025.

I honestly didn’t even notice that the tailpipes are hidden until after I received my 540ix.
I’m not typically a mods guy - but this is something I’d be willing to have done to my car. I’m hesitant since I don’t normally mod anything. Is this something that eventually we’d be able to get a kit and do ourselves or does it need to be done at a professional shop? It’s such a head scratcher that we don’t have visible tailpipes especially since the matte covers on the otherwise piano black look like they’re meant to be removed lol
