How do we feel about the badge by the C pillar on the G60?

It’ll be interesting to see if they expand this kind of design element to other series - they did a cut/paste job with the G90 too. It does remind me of my road bike - I ride a Specialized Tarmac and don’t think there’s a single tube on it that escapes having a logo pasted on it.

I have no strong feeling about it. It’s kind of wierd yes, but not ugly. The light up one for the chinese market might be kind of cool, although I have mixed feelings about calling more attention to it. I’ve owned a lot of BMWs, I have no particular nostalgia for the Hoffmeister kink, it can be there or not, I don’t really care. In everyday life, I don’t really see stuff like this, I don’t perceive it. Like the door sills. I have nice ones on my M5, and illuminated ones on my 550i, which always suprise me when I vacuum the cars and rediscover them. When I get in the car and drive, I just don’t notice bling like this. That’s why I’m not the person that Porsche can sell $3k+ leather door sills packages to.

I don't mind the 5 logo at all. It's black and understated. Goes fine with my black sapphire color. At least it's not in chrome.

I agree with this. I like that it's understated and blends in with the theme of my black/red car. I don't think I would like it if it was lit up like in the Chinese market.

I like it. To be honest on my first look at the G60 I didn't realize it was there. It doesn't need to be emphasised further but I think it's a nice touch, much better than the excessive ///M branding that they insist on putting everywhere - I wish they'd leave that for the actual M cars.

I do like the 5 on the iside pillar though, it is a nice touch and not in your face.

Yeah, but not sure if it will fit on one not equipped with it. Or if the wiring is there behind it. I wouldn't want to have to route power for them.
