My digital key plus is in my Samsung wallet and linked the MyBmw ID. Once I'm in the car it adjusts everything to my settings but even though I've set "passive entry" to "on," all of a sudden the car is not locking and unlocking when I approach it or walk away from it.

This began happening after I had to use the key fob to give to the valet parking attendant where I live. Now that has ended and the key fob is back in a drawer away from the car. Not sure why this would disrupt the car's sensing the digital key plus but it started happening after about a week of the phone and key fob both being in the car. I did notice that during this time the car seemed to 'defer' to the key more than the digital key plus.

Any idea about what I can do to re-enable passive entry with the digital key plus? Is it possible that this is just a random brain fart that will right itself in a day or two?

I think what you're seeing is normal behavior The car does go into a sleep mode at a certain amount of time I had my digital key link to my iPhone same behavior and I also had it linked to my Android which I have now same behavior now it typically unlocks when I walk up to the car but if I've been around it and it keeps unlocking and unlocking it'll go into a sleep mode and I have to just touch the handle and it opens up but once I'm around the car that behavior goes away
