I5 m60 traction control always on

So, I’ve noticed even when I have sport mode and all DCS fully off, the car still pulls power, same when in boost mode if any of the tires sip a little. Not that I want to or would, but technically I could never do donuts. Is that normal? DCS and traction control doesn’t seem any different if fully engaged or or fully turned off. Just was curious if that’s just part of having electric car. Anyone have any insight?

I have an i4 M50 and would say it's the same setup, even with all there is still intervention.
