BMW typically starts production of the next model year around March of the previous year. I think the OP meant 2024 not 2025.

5 and 7 series model year productions usually start in July.

It’s very powerful… definitely the most powerful car I’ve ever owned. It feels like you’re driving a V8. It’s exhilarating!

From 2010 E60 to 2025 G60... I just ordered a 540xi as shown in the original post, March delivery; M package, leather. I also own a G05 X5 with the earlier engine variant. I test-drove it with and without the M package, and it makes a difference in handling and braking. Superior vehicles in my mind, just couldn't find anything else I liked, including a Merc E450.

I like the X5 just as much, especially for its leather config all around the interior and the heated arm rests.

This will be my fourth bimmer.
