Charge Forward program

I got this notification through the MyBMW app. I was curious if anyone on the forum is enrolled and if so how this is working out given the challenges we’re hearing about with trying to charge during specified time slots. Is Charge Forward somehow immune to the bug in the current version of iDrive?

Some people on the iX forum have tried this in the past, and it seems to complicate things even further in terms of time window charging. Whether it's immune to the recent bug or not... I can't say for sure.

ChargeForward has been a PITA for me. I re-enrolled about 3 months ago to the basic level, but have been working with the ChargeForward genius email for the past 2-3 months about trying to get notifications working, and also trying to join the program relating to my local utility. I sort of gave up. If they don't get it working for me within the next 6 weeks, I am leaving the program again and might try in another year or so.

Overall, it's still very buggy. Most times, it doesn't set my settings back correctly after I unplug, sometimes it does. Lot's of software issues and enrollment issues for me. Considering I'm at about a $10 balance after a quarter has passed, the hassle is not worth it.
