The i5 picture is also curious since it looks like there’s could be room for an insert. Not sure if that’s just a weight/range choice (probably) not equip a spare or the area unseen forward of that storage space is occupied (where’s the B&W subwoofer located)?
The subwoofer in the i5 is supposed to be pretty much where that spare insert would go - the underfloor battery means that the subwoofers cannot be installed under the front seats if I understand correctly.

I have not opened the Mobility Kit as yet - just threw it into the trunk today after I dumped the spare tire/tools into storage. Still very unhappy with the overall situation in addition to the spare; disappointed about the numbness of the 550e (even in sport) compared to my recently departed M550ix. Hope I come to tolerate this lump, but this is the first time after decades of driving BMWs that I have no passion to just jump in and drive. My 2020 X3 M40i is more fun.

IDK, I find my 540iX a lot of fun to drive so far. I like driving my wife's V8 Range Rover Sport, but not as much as my car. Not even close. Whereas when I had my Mercedes, it was a toss up. The only reason she wouldn't drive it was because it was a manual and she claimed hip problems and the clutch would aggravate it.

I too have been impressed w/ the responsiveness of my 550 given the size and weight. No doubt I would have loved it more w/ the suspension upgrade that arrived on the configurator after mine was built but it’s been good for now.

Will be curious how I feel after break in and really start being able to drive it.
