Tell the dealer to read this blog. My i5 does not make any audible noise when putting the phone in charging tray. A thought though since phones come in different sizes and my phone does not sit flat in charging tray so there is not as much resistance to air flow. I have a Samsung s24 ultra.

I have a S23 Ultra so almost the same size as your phone especially with the wallet phone cover on it. The noise continues after I take the phone off the charger till the fan or whatever contraption spins down.

I'll keep a close ear on this over the next couple of weeks and take a longer video. At some point, I'm going to ask them to show me another i5 on the lot that does the same as well as have the technician sit with me.

Forgot to a post a update. I had called the dealership the very next day and asked who I could speak to as I wanted the diagnosis to be reevaluated. Went back the following day where the shop foreman checked the issue, compared to another i5 on the lot and he confirmed it was an issue and ordered a new wireless charging tray/fans.

It was finally replaced yesterday so I'm back to peace and quiet during my rides whenever I place my phone!
