My 2024 540ix is Brooklyn Grey with the M Sport Pro package. The wheels should really be all black. Does anyone have any experience or opinions on powder coating the original wheels to gloss black? Does powder coating look good and is it durable?

Everyone seems to be very happy with the results. Biggest debate seems to be a satin vs. matte finish.

I’d not concern yourself with resale value, just do what makes you happy. Unless it’s a lease of course; then I’d advise just living with it.

anything can hurt the resale value of a car, i doubt the wheels would impact it.

Exactly! It looks sportier now! I was really concerned with how it was going to turn out but it's better than I hoped

I definitely like that look more than the stock look! Well worth it in my opinion.
