Rear window wiper G61; off balance?

Hi all,

Question about a G61
My rear wiper doesn’t seem to be level swiping.
It feels like it wipes from 10:00-04:00 instead of 3:00-9:00 if it where a clock.

The dealer says it’s supposed to do this, but it feels extraordinarily off if this would be the case.

Can anyone confirm or deny if this is the case.
Picture included and if you look close you see the wiper on the right sides touching the black of the window. On the left it’s about 2-3 cm off this space.

Anyone recognize this?
Thanks in advance,

I think it's right. As long as it doesn't run off the glass onto the paint. It's probably set that way because you are in the UK and it's right hand drive. That way the wiper is not visible and distracting in your rear view, because the black obscures it

Thanks for thinking with me.
In fact though, I’m in the Netherlands so Lefthand drive.
It’s not so much the right side that feels off, but more the left side which ends ‘higher’ on the window then the right side.

I really can’t image that this is supposed to be like this. It’s feels very un-German to have a wiper that doesn’t finish level, unless the window leaves no room.

Now that I have had my car a few weeks I am just returning to other threads to tell people I have the same issues

My G61 wiper does the exact same thing. I noticed it over the weekend getting the dog out of the boot and my rear screen now has a coat of winter grime on it.

This post immediately popped into my head and now I can't unsee it. I have now watched the wiper in my rear mirror and can see it doesn't go the full 180 degrees......

ETA: I am RHD

Sorry for this haha. Wasn’t posting to make other people aware of this ;-)

My car goes back to the dealer next week for some issues and will definitely be discussing this again. They say it’s on all G61’s but can’t image that this is supposed to happen..

Good luck unseeing this..

Not sure if it helps, but my beloved E91 wagon had a similar thing. I tried to geek the contrast on this picture to bring out the arc of the rear wiper, but you can see it’s not a perfect 180 either.
