Let me guess. You are a white, straight, male Protestant.
And yet here you are, Jewish and driving a Germany car. Very interesting to me because of your so articulated position. Almost seems like an oxymoron if you ask me. As far as “labeling” comment made previously, you don’t need a flag in a yard nor fake grass, you just need to open your mouth. We all hear your meaaage loud and clear and with all do respect I kinda don’t appreciate the hijacking of this legitimate original question of the post. How can this thread be closed now?

Yes, we have an HOA but they did nothing. Now he has the giant Trump flag outside that’s says Take America Back. Redneck is the best term I could come up with.

As for the sticker, I’m just against labeling people and things. I keep seeing people wearing a big Star of David in Germany before the camps opened. The fire department could easily just keep a list of addresses in their computer.
Sorry but on what planet is calling someone a redneck not an insult? That would be quite a double standard if someone really believed that.

Redneck is a derogatory term mainly, but not exclusively, applied to white Americans perceived to be crass and unsophisticated, closely associated with rural whites of the Southern United States.

You gotta be kidding me. News flash it’s not 1960 anymore. Get real. Did any of that happen his first term? Since when did trump ever say he wants to go back to persecuting blacks and Jews (of which his daughter is Jewish) what planet are you on?

During the last Florida hurricane my niece's partner's Aunt & Uncle who live in Florida, had to evacuate. The elected to leave their Tesla Model 3 in their garage.

The house was right on a coastal area, with a dock not more than 100 yards from the house, so they undoubtedly experienced some storm surge.

In the end, the vehicle and the house, were a total loss. I think what surprised me most, was the lack of watertight integrity for the battery pack. I guess, I just kind of expected these things to be rubber sealed and designed in such a way that any wiring harnesses that came in/out of the pack would be so shielded with rubber, "goo" such, that it would be nearly impossible to have a runaway reaction like that.

I think you guys are all mostly missing the point....

First off, this isn't a political issue. I'm right between Milwaukee and Chicago and for every home I see in the boonies with a pickup truck and a Trump flag......I also see a 3 million dollar home with a Mercedes and a Trump flag, too. Just because you voted for Trump doesn't mean you are racist or a redneck or not Jewish or any of that. I've really been fascinated by the political landscape over the last 10-15 years because 99% of the population isn't important or big enough to experience much of a difference in their lives regardless of whether the President is Trump, Biden, or Taylor Swift. I don't see why people get so bent out of shape about this stuff....

Actually, the result of the election gives me some hope in this country still. Not because they necessarily voted for Trump, but because they didn't vote for someone (regardless of political party) who thought most of the citizens of this country were so stupid that they would still vote for the very person who helped make the economy and inflation what it is today. She thought because she wasn't the actual President the last 4 years that she somehow didn't also "sign those checks".

The whole EV sticker thing is for first responders. Wisconsin just started requiring an orange EV license plate sticker for electric vehicles, again, for first responders. Fighting an EV fire is WAY different than fighting a normal fire. In most cases, if you have an EV fire in your garage then your entire home is probably gone.

Well, I disagree with the statement that 99% of the population didn’t experience any differences in their life under the previous Trump presidency as the statistical data gathered during that time period disproves such a statement. Trump’s rhetoric and complacency towards marginalized groups (we are talking about a man who made fun of a disabled journalist on national television and disparaged John McCain for being a prisoner of war, and mocking his inability to raise his arms above his head) emboldened antisemitism and discrimination during the time he was in office.

Publications support this:

For example, anti-Semitic incidents in the USA increased 86% in the first quarter of 2017 (post-election) compared with the same time period in 2016 (pre-election)vi. Similarly, there was a 91% increase in anti-Muslim hate crimes in the first half of 2017, compared with the same time period in 2016 (pre-election)vii. These trends continued throughout Trump’s presidency, with annual hate crimes remaining around 20% higher during his administrationviii. Other research specifically tied these increases in hate crimes to Trump himself, finding that counties that hosted a Trump rally showed hate crime rates almost double those of similar counties with no rally [1]. These findings suggest that discrimination increased following Trumps election.

I have been a pragmatic moderate for most of my life, and have voted for both parties at different points in my voting history. I have a tremendous respect for the Rule of Law and the Constitution, and believe in our processes.

With this being said, I could not bring myself to vote for some who had been adjudicated for Felony Fraud and found civilly liable for sexual assault, by a jury of his peers. I could find no means in my moral conscience to rationalize that, and never will, as a healthcare professional.

I respect the outcome of this election, just as I did the last one. I feel like their are sufficient checks and balances to ensure the survival of the Republic provided that America continues to respect the rule of Law.

They can’t be completely sealed. There has to be a way for heat to escape

Submerging protection is a whole another level of waterproofing than just protecting against water ingress from driving in the wet.
