It used to be a thing to get tickets for not having front plates, but I think that has fallen off long ago. I haven’t had a front plate since 2008, and no plate tickets since 2005. Most (all?) Teslas have no mounting for front plates, and Silicon Valley here was seemingly ground zero for Tesla proliferation and I have never seen Teslas being hassled considering that all you have to do is stand outside for a minute and a at least one Tesla will go by, no front plate of course. No way would I put a front plate on my Corvette or M5.

I got *one* in the 13 years I lived in California. It was in San Francisco, downtown, on my Acura. I'd gone into the city for dinner on a weekend. Even then, I think it was like $150-175, but I paid it and went on. Damn SF and their fines.

Yeah, if I was going to do it over, I think I would have not put a front plate on, and just bought one of those plate holders that go into the tow socket on the front. Then, if I got a "fix-it" ticket, I could put that on and then remove it again later. Hmmm, live and learn I guess.

The newer style of a front plate holder is using magnets...I've tried it but have some other options to try and see what I want to use.

I like these seat belt rubber covers that keeps the buckle from whacking the B pillars when my passengers unbuckle and let it fly. ha

The whole M Performance body pinstripe kit. Love it
I saw carbon fiber for the front bumper air vents that I hope are good. Hesitant to order since company in Malaysia and on order slip asks what’s my budget. Huh???
The part online website says ~$450usd
https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/S3d86fdb4...1000&hash=2000
This place from Aliexpress has them $100 less. Still jury not back if I would like since probably not 100% CF like rest of kit.

Do the G60 seat belt buckles rattle (front passenger side) when not in use? This is a problem on F10’s, where the way they hang can lead to rattling, requiring reaching over while driving to set straight or just buckle it. If so, do these rubber covers help avoid that?

If you park in West Hollywood, you will get a ticket for that in 32 seconds.

Where did you pick those up? That’s a pretty great find.

No rattling in mine.

I wonder if it makes a difference buying the official valve stem caps from BMW.

Would seem odd if BMW sold valve stem caps that were not compatible with the same valve stems that they employed.

One year in and they seem to be just fine.

Good to know, thanks RichardInCA. I have added the same BMW-sold M Sport caps you have, so I guess I'll be fine. :-)

While I like how a metal cap with logo looks, the salt/corrosion binding up the threads is a buzzkill. So I've just been using grey plastic caps. And if someone steals them or the dealer/tire shop forgets to put them back on, it's not a huge loss.
