buying i5 m6 from auction
I saw a beautiful car that has less than 3k miles in a dealer auction. Mercedes dealer auctioned the car - I assume it is a trade-in. it is i5 m60 2024, no dent or damage, 1 owner. the auction price is 68k, the MSRP is 98. my questions:
1-do you think this is a risky deal? 2- Since it is almost brand new, do you think BMW would honor the warranty? or can I buy a warranty? |

No experience with your questions, but at that price I suspect it's fair as EV used prices are dropping fast.
On warranty I would expect the mfg warranty to be valid as it's neither over mileage or years. |

Is the "One Owner" an individual or a rental car company? And yes to the warranty question. They do have to honor the manufacturer's warranty, and you can still purchase the extended warranty and service package from your dealer. The only things that don't carry over are any other protection packages the original owner may have purchased, like the wheel protection, paint protection etc...
