In my '24 i5 eDrive40, I figured out (I think) that the only port that supports audio files is the left one in front of the console. but it fails to be recognized frequently and the only issue I can think of is that it doesn't like my Samsung USB-C stick. I'm going to try a SanDisk tomorrow, but if anyone has suggestions about USB audio, I'll welcome advice.

I bought this one back in April and it has worked flawlessly for me since. I also have mine plugged into the driver's side port in front of the console, but I have not tried any other ports so can't say if others work. I like this one because it's small and out of the way and has enough space for my music. Plus, I haven't broken it off yet when running the cloth along that area and forgetting that it was there.

Thanks. I just swapped to a SanDisk USB-C 64Gb. It's formatted Ex-FAT and contains 3 folders and a few hundred files. So far, it works fine. I missed that small stick on Amazon, so I'll have to pick one up. It's handier than mine. I'll have to try again, but I thought that only the left port supported data. All the ports are marked as charging/power
