Apple Watch Setup

I am picking up an Apple Watch Series 10 today. It is cellular and won’t be tethered to my iPhone. I can’t find information on whether I can use my watch as a digital key without my phone. Do I set the watch up as a different phone in the car? Or do I just download MyBMW and sync to my ID?

Has anyone here gone through that process?

It works. Just add the key to your phone and then I believe it will prompt you to add it to your watch. Or, you could go in and do it manually in the watch app on the phone I believe.

So, I delete the digital key and reset it up and it will prompt me to add the watch? I’m starting a new BMW test app today and I usually have to reset it up anyway.

You should just be able to go into the Watch app on your phone and add it to wallet if it is not already there.

I had to remap the digital key as part of the MyBMW app test. When I deleted it and reloaded it, it automatically updated my watch. I hate lugging around a phone, so this is awesome.

That's cool, I should try with Android again.
