Remote Software Upgrade - The starter battery charge status is too low
My i5 is not able to upgrade to the latest software. It says "The starter battery charge status is too low to start the installation. Please charge your vehicle's battery, e.g. by driving for an extended period of time."
I have driven 110 miles in last 2 days (over 50 miles just this morning of mostly highway driving averaging 70 mph trying to charge the starter battery), but this message is still there. I wonder how long a trip I need to make to get rid of this message. Has anyone else seen this message? I hope I don't have to drive to the dealership to get this upgrade. |

That's interesting. My car has not received the OTA update yet, but when I sat in it earlier today, the message below came up on the display. Has anyone else seen this message in their car before?
Not sure why, or exactly what it means. I did not do anything unusual when using the parking feature last time I used it, so I guess I'll just wait to see if I get the message again. I closed the message and things seem normal again.
