It doesn't list the start stop option in the new features does it just add it

Agreed, it's odd that it isn't listed in the release notes, but it's there in favorites panel above the nav screen.

I did the update the other day and last night the remote services stopped working entirely.

That may be unrelated. I have not received the update yet today but also have no connectivity to the vehicle today. It may be a wider-spread issue.

I got the update and installed, but no connectivity today either even before the update. So, something is up and it would appear unrelated.

Software update issues

I updated the software. The app no longer shows the state of charge of my car and GPS Tracking is no longer available. No way to turn on. Any ideas? Thanks

I drove around to install the update, it quit at 70% and said to try again. Parked and it asked me if I wanted to install, I said yes. Go back in 30 minutes and it can’t recognize my digital key. Went back got both fobs and this time it recognized me so I didn’t delete it. Went through settings and advanced driving assist says my subscription expired even though it’s good for 8 years.

I did customize widgets, but next time I got in my car they were gone.

Another horrible experience. It’s not that hard to update software, BMW.

I suspect a lot of this has been impacted by the server outage in SC caused by Hurricane Helene.

Sidebar - oddly when my dealer did the update a couple of weeks back, my car completely forgot my driving habits and my range estimates were atrocious for a couple of days. Seems as though it might be recalibrating the range calculations somehow.

Mine updated yesterday. Was having CarPlay delayed connection, which is normal for my vehicle. Was hoping this update would resolve my issues. It was still doing the same thing after update. It's crazy to me that this thing is so bad. My son is learning to drive and I let him drive with me to school. Upon arrival we switch seats and CarPlay takes a few minutes before it reconnects again. His phone is not paired to it. I am hoping it's the storm issues causing it.
Anyway 28 more months to go....

My son drove my car. His phone is named paralysis demon and it shows up as its own icon in iDrive now. I have no idea what he did. But, he connects right away. My phone is just listed in the mobile devices.

It's not working for me. I removed 5AP with bimmerutility, saved the change and installed the new software.

I still see the 5AP as "removed" when I connect bimmerutility.

You just make sure lights are on AUTO, right? Is there anything else you do to turn it on?

I am clearly doing something wrong. Appreciate your help.
