Hi guys,

I was playing with 5 Series configurator and found out new options:
- Multicontour M Seats available with black Merino leather (full black!)
- Alcantara Headliner available with Panorama Glassdach

I think they are pretty nice add-ons! If my current lease will be over in 1,5 year, I will opt for them!

Cool. But neither is available in the US Configurator. I like those seats.

I can see the seats here in the UK, but you have to have all black merino leather AND the comfort plus pack (effectively they then replace the comfort/luxury seats, but cost 2K more because of the requirement for alll black Merino)

Worth noting you can't have the all black merino without the seats, as I know the bi color merino puts people off, and the seats only come in black.

We also have Individual paint on the config now too that is new.

Don't see the Alcantara headliner anywhere.

I wonder if you can get the multi-contour M seats individualized with different merino leather options? Like the red or orange leathers available on the M5 configurator.

I can See only black Merino for now.
Perhaps They will extend selection but for me it would be enough.
New options are visible in european configurator.

I think they’re handsome in black, so it is a welcomed option regardless.

Still wonder if they are really multi-contour seats, though. I don't see a point of articulation on the top/side for it, like on the G30 and prior generation seats what were true multi-contour. If you've had them, you know what I mean--and know the difference between those and these "multi-contour" seats in the G60 that really are no such thing.

Are you referring to the top half of the seat back being able to tilt forward (or better not to tilt - I don’t think I’ve ever liked that feature because it isnt’ comfortable)

What were you configuring if I may ask? Because in the US these seats are not available. Neither is the Full Merino Leather. Only Extended Merino Leather. The only ones similar are if you are ordering the M5.

Yes, that is true multi-contour. The adjustment to me (and to many) was worth the option as it made the seat, well, contour, to your back more completely and made it more supportive.

It’s definitely one thing I miss in my M60.

I'm not surprised. So typically BMWNA. Maybe the US market will see these options for MY26

Were playing with i5 M60. But you can also configure low-end 520i or 520d with those beatifull M-Seats and alcantara headliner
