Correct I had no luck adding it after multiple attempts to my 550e so your mileage may vary on whether you are able to pull it off.

Could the reason 2VV is not possible as an individual order option on ICEs be an engineering limitation? Perhaps the rear steering hardware only fits in vehicles with the battery powered motors in the rear.

I have it on my 530e G60 in France. Was not an option when I ordered the car but became available before the build. My build was in June 2024. In Europe it is also an option on the 550e

Yeah, but they also say 4 zone climate is not available in US 540 and I know of at least 2 people who got it.
