The northern route is quicker to cross the Atlantic this time of year. They have the currents in their favor for a quicker, smoother passage. When they come from the US back to Europe, they take a more southerly route because of the currents as well.

Todd, it's because you are destined to trail the pack for week 36. Lol. And I told them to put the tarp back on. Seriously though, I heard they are having delays in 540i builds. Not sure if it's because of the Brake recall issue, or because of the microchip shortage thing. Or it could be due to your non-standard option being triple checked. Hopefully it will move out today.

Haha thanks! It’ll get here when it gets here. Better for them to wait than to ship it with a stop sale. Could be the 4NB, but it’s a standard option everywhere else in the world. Was talking to a BMW service manager on FB, and he was telling me it’s usually because they’re lacking “something” to complete it

I heard that. 550e two weeks and day here. I'm picturing it now, when it finally makes it to the boat and crossed the ocean its just going to sit off the port because of the port labor strikes which are about to being on the east coast. Oh yeah!

Looks like BMW added a couple more TBA lines to the specs page on the the 550e. Are we getting closer to releasing the information perhaps?

Part number: 51-14-5-A4B-373 - BMW OEM GLOSS BLACK FENDER BADGE SET

Here are the part numbers for both options. Some people like the silver ones, while others prefer the black ones. If you google both P/N’s you’ll be able to see the options.

I ordered the black ones, as I felt it would look cool with Carbon Black Metallic.

There are some threads regarding measurement/placement as well, if you search.

For some reason BMW does not put on the M Badge for US cars unless it is an actual M car. In the EU if you get the MSport package it comes with it. I hjave no idea why they do that. Also in the EU it comes with the wheel locks. In the US it's a separate purchase.
