Have been going through the menu in iDrive trying to find the battery control feature to set a minimum level for travelling, but didn't find it.

Anyone aware of where it is or how is it activated?

What feature is it you are looking for - I’m not familiar with “battery control” in my i5. The only recommendation in the manual for long term storage is to leave the vehicle with between 30% and 50% state of charge, and not plugged into a charger.

Allow me to clarify that I recently took delivery of a 530e G60.
Battery control feature is available in g05 x5 and sets the minimum for the battery level. In case you are travelling and you set a destination far away, system distributes the consumption of electricity evenly to reach the minimum point when at destination
