Battery Management

Does anyone else get this message? Mine comes a couple of times per week. And now I’m noticing the car not unlocking as rapidly if it’s been sitting for a while. Like I went to open my trunk and it opened hallway and then stopped. Same when I went to close it. This only happens if the car has sat for 24 hours or more.

What message is that? I haven’t received any messages about battery management issues. My guess is that battery management may be unrelated to the lock/unlock issue which has changed since the last OTA update which appears to have detuned the sensitivity to the phone proximity-induced lock/unlock.

This has been happening since before the ota update. It hasn’t really bothered me before but in this case I was having a hard time opening the trunk. One side note, about every week I have to sign back in to my Spotify account in the car. I’m thinking now these two things are related. When this happens, I lose my Spotify connection. I’m wondering if there is a small battery somewhere that retains all of these settings and maybe that is going bad or has gone bad? There may be other things that I haven’t noticed yet.

I’m guessing you guys can’t see my picture. It says battery management: Increased power consumption while parking. Remote services have been disabled.
I just brought it to the dealership for service for the brake issue that I’ve been having so I’m having them look at it. They said it could be a 12 V battery problem.

Correct, I cannot see the picture. Have not seen that in my car, thankfully.

I don't see your picture either. I have not seen that message before - hopefully you can update this post when you get a resolution from your dealer/service guy.
