So I had the tapping AC noise…fixed. Had the squeaking mirrors. Fixed but is now back (I guess not fixed).

Now I’m getting this noise when I accelerate from a stop or come to quick stop. It almost sounds like something is sliding around in the trunk. Went and checked and there’s nothing. It’s really hard to pinpoint where it is coming from but it definitely sounds like something is moving around under acceleration/deceleration. Anyone have something similar?

How did they fix the squeaking mirrors?

I don’t know what they did but the noise stopped for a couple of days and is back. I don’t have time to bring the car in so until they have a legit fix I just turned off the option to open and close the mirrors.

I’ll take a wild guess that they put some sort of lubricant in there and called it good.

I had similar in an iX and they found a bolt from the factory rolling around under the trunk floor.
