I live in Czechia but my App Store is set to the US, and I can't change it since I have a lot of family apps/subs in it.

MyBMW app tries to log me into a bmwusa.com account (which I don't have), so I have a second phone with the proper (Czech) app store, where I can handle my cars, and that's the only reason for me to have it. Which is silly.

Do you guys happen to know what to do in this situation? I'd love to have the MyBMW app on my phone if only it let me log into the correct BMW account.

Interested, since I have ordered a US Spec car and it will be delivered to me in Spain. The My BMW app is on my US phone. BMW Genius says they will not be able to see my vehicle on their system until I get it to the US in 2-4 years and take it to a dealer so they can add it to the BMW USA list of VIN's.

offtopic: How did you manage to do that? I could use a 540i spec. Otherwise, it's only 550e for me (with B58).

I am a US Civil Service employee stationed in Spain. BMW has a Military Sales program and I was able to order one tax-free. For delivery to me here, and I can drive it here until I go back to the US. Then I ship it back with me. I don't think you can get a 540ix anywhere but the US, with certain exceptions like mine.

Back to your issue though. It sounds like a BMW Genius question. Sorry.

Sign up with Testbirds. You test the latest BMW app. They give you a link to their Git hub repo, then you can download the app for North America and avoid the Apple Store or Google play. I’m always using the latest app.

Another option is to log out of the AppStore with your US Apple ID and log back in with your Czech Apple ID. Now you can download the Czech MyBMW app. After downloading log back out of the AppStore and log back in with the US Apple ID. My main Apple ID is from the US, but I’ve created multiples with email alias such as emailUS@outlook.com, emailUK@outlook.com… with this you can download country specific apps. After logging back in with your main Apple ID, the other apps from the different country app stores will also get updated automatically whenever new updates are available.
