2025 m5 v8 phev

Hello. New M5 is now available. I have few questions.
  1. Is M5 have same time/miles for service required as normal 5 series or it will require more.?
  2. Can we use it for long drives, like Toronto to Vancouver..?

Please reply. Thanks.

You might be better off posting this in the M5 forum here for the G90: https://g90.bimmerpost.com/forums/fo...play.php?f=952

1. No idea
2. Why wouldn’t you be able to use it for a long drive? It’ll be mostly like owning a regular ICE I believe, but the V8 wil charge the battery to prevent it from running to 0% SOC.

It’s a hybrid so you can use it for long drives and stop for fuel like any other ICE car.

The plug in hybrid motor only goes 25 miles, so if you only drive to the grocery store, you can just use the electric motor. My commute to work one way is longer than 25 miles. If they would have expanded the electric range to 100 miles, I would be getting the M5 Touring. All electric for daily driving, but capable of family vacations. I find 25 miles useless.

I really want to order the m5, but the m60 is not much slower than new m5. I also don’t look forward to having to pay for gas again.

I’m with you, I also don’t miss the complexity of a gas engine to be honest.
