Team, about a week ago I noticed that my Drivers Assistance Plus was not activating as it normally would. I think it’s related to the fact that when I’m driving around, the navigation is not showing my car in the correct location. The car is 30+ miles away from where the gps navigation on my bmw shows. At least Apple Maps are correct but why would the BMW GPS be so far off? Is there a way to reset or recalibrate it without resetting the entire car?

I would do a soft reset

Thanks for the assistance. Looks like a soft reset of iDrive fixed it.

Press power 3 times to get into diagnostic mode

Press and hold volume wheel on the center console until the screen turns off.

Turn the engine on and drive for 2 blocks and now the GPS is accurate again.

Glad it worked. I thought when I saw the post title and before I opened it that you were going to say, that it was showing you on the next street, or something.

30 miles is "just a bit" out of calibration. If it was a plane you would have landed at Midway instead of Ohare. lol
