Light in Driver Side Sun Visor Doesn't Work

I just noticed yesterday that the small light bar in my driver side sun visor doesn't work. The passenger side works, but not the driver side. Guess I'll have to get it replaced at the dealer sometime.

Anyone else have this issue? It took me almost 4 months to notice it, but at least I found it during the warranty period. :-) I guess I should probably test everything I can think of, just in case. For example, I realized that I have never run the windshield washer fluid before - just assuming it works. I should probably test everything I can soon and get any minor issues I find fixed all at once.

I had that occur in an Acura I once purchased. The vanity light and the passenger side puddle light located under the side mirror, within a few months of ownership. Surprised me because they were LEDs, which tend to have a long lifespan. Might want to call your service department and get it logged now, so they don’t give you some “wear and tear” item nonsense.

Now on my list of the things to remember to check when I go to the dealership to pick up my car. Make sure EVERYTHING works!

Literally press every button!! Preferable not all at once. And peer into every nook and cranny.

As a child of about 7, I may or may not have once turned off all the power in a multistory department store <cough>. My mom and sisters were trying on clothes, and I wandered back a long hallway to peer into a room with an open door. To my amazement, it contained control panels, buttons, knobs, and levers that reminded me of the Engine room on the TOS Enterprise.

A click here, a press there, a knob turn or two...and little did my young self realize, I was turning off fountains, stopping escalators, and shutting off lighting. The party ended when I pulled a cross-barred lever, that was the MOAS (Mother of All Switches), jettisoning the store's warp core. I stood there as the world became eerily quiet; an audible 'click' of red emergency lighting flooding the hallways.

I beat a hasty retreat down the hall back to the dressingrooms, but a sales associate saw my little blond self in the midst of a high-speed retreat. I got quite the lecture from the store manager, and my mom. My sisters died of embarrassment.

Personally, I blame my dad. He started me on science fiction TV and movies at age 5, and I had a fairly over active imagination.
