Last night I put in a destination and sent it to the car. Now every time I head in that direction it pops up as a suggested destination in the search box on the upper left of the control screen. I went into "previous destinations" and long held that entry and then deleted it from the options that opened up. But that didn't stop it from happening! It's very annoying and I really don't need the car prompting me to go back to any previous destination just because I'm heading in any particular direction. If I want to go back to somewhere I know that all I'd have to do would be to tap "previous destinations" and select the one I want to head back to.

Is there any way to defeat this "car thinking for me" annoyance?

Apple Maps does that, too. When we get in my husband’s Lightning, we always check to see where it wants us to go, then laugh.

Thank you so much. In my car the solution was navigstion>configure services>learning navigation (unchecked that box).
