I’m getting this message after
I re installed the bmw app.
Says do it in settings but can’t find it.
Anyone know or done it. ?
I reinstalled due to no updating my services. Like charging percentage even while charging. And more

It must of needed some time or was going through some resetting not sure. All works now

Remember, that sometimes the BMW servers or app may have widespread issues. Usually fixes itself after a while. I had an issue around 6pm Pacific today where the app would no longer communicate with the car. I pulled down on the home screen in the app to update the screen and after trying, it gave me some message about having no internet connection. However, my phone had a strong 5G signal, so maybe there was some other issue going on. Works fine now and worked a couple hours afterwards too when I tried again.

Funny you mention that - I saw something at the same time heading out of the office where the app seemed to have forgotten my car. It didn’t affect my key but yeah, I feel this stuff is more related to the kinds of issues we all experience with our laptops and phones on a periodic basis.

I had also forgotten I had updated to iOs18.
I thought might be it. My scan&Go at Sam’s Club wasn’t scanning either. I rebooted phone nothing until I got home and put stufff I checked to continue troubleshooting but all
Was working then.
The widget on iPhone to myBMW app changed. Can get to more tasks quicker

Mine could not communicate yesterday, either. But, Microsoft is still experiencing outages in the Azure cloud services. Airlines are down as well.
