I was able to get 10% of MSRP with a money factor of 0.0019 plus the $7500 rebate. Sounds like you did even better.

dealer still added a bunch of add-ons (dent/appearance/window tint $1700) and marked up MF .0023. seems strange to markdown a lot and then offset with add-ons..

Has anyone here been able to get deals on i5 custom orders?
We are looking at doing a '25 custom order later this year, and curious how much discount I can pull (other than the EV lease credit). |

I think it depends on the dealer. I've custom ordered every BMW for the last 25 years and always got deals that were $x over invoice, even my E90 M3. But I've only used 2 dealers during this time so I have a long-term relationship with them and lots of purchase history. BMW changed the pricing structure to dealers a few years ago so there may not be as much room to negotiate as there was 10 years ago, but there's still room.

You guys are missing out when your intent is to own the car outright at the time of purchase. The only "extra work" is securing the financing if you can't afford to buy it outright cash to begin with, as the vehicle will likely qualify for "used car" interest rates and the interest rate to buy out the lease might be slightly higher ... but honestly it wont equate to $7500 higher interest over the course of the loan |

For examples I have brokers in the NYC metro area doing 12.5% MSRP discount on G60 orders. Work at it and you can replicate yourself without a broker ... or pony up the $500 and have them do the work for you. Add the EV lease cash on top of the 12.5% discounts. The "gold old days" of cheap BMW leases are back, atleast with the BEVs that is! |

The purchase special was 4% below market rate for a new car loan. Probably about 6% less than a used car loan. Now I have to qualify for a larger payment. My husband lost his job after I ordered but before I signed the paperwork. Our income went down by $195k a year. Seven months later, still no job. He is going to retire. I’m glad I purchased otherwise I would have no car.
