Does the MY 2024 540 have the Interaction Bar with Ambient Lighting? I don’t see it in standard features but I do see it in the standard features for the i5. Does anyone know?

Yes. The 540i X Drive does have it. It's the US 530i/X that doesn't. Not sure about EU Models. But I believe the 520 doesn't either.

Off topic, but does the interaction bar interacts with the music, or is it just a solid color throughout all modes?

I don’t think it interacts with the music, but it does shift/change in some modes - expressive for instance

I think it could be region specific. In my country (Singapore), all trims (Standard, Launch and MSport) come with 4UR interactive bar, for April delivery onwards though for some strange reasons, we only have the 520i and i5 M40 and M60 for now.

Prior to this, it was weird. The first batch of the 5 series that came to our shores came equipped with either the 4UR or the non-interactive one. It was literally a luck of the draw!

Subsequently, all 5s delivered were standard spec-ed with the 4UR.

The new 5 interior is plasticky. The 4UR offers some consolation over the non-interactive one. The latter makes the car look like a cheapo karaoke lounge on wheels.
