Last night the two front rims were stolen in a parking garage. What can I do?

Were they on your car at the time (I.e. they jacked up the car and took the wheels off)? If so, did they activate the external cameras - you might be able to get some footage to help the police, otherwise, I guess….insurance? Buy new rims with locking nuts as PsychDoc says.

It is interesting that they took the time to steal only two of the four wheels. One would think they'd have wanted to steal all four. I wonder if they got spooked or if someone was in the garage looking at them and they saw that.

Anyway with a case like this I'm skeptical that the police can do much other than give you a police report for your insurance company. I think your homeowner's insurance might cover this. I don't think your auto policy would pay out on a criminal theft like this. But, who knows?

A shame we live in a world where stuff like this happens.

And yes that suck that someone Do that. Did they leave the car on bricks or something or crates
