First of all let me say....This is an attempt at some humour too! lol
I was in a relationship of 10 years with a woman. Let's call her "she" She had a 99' Miata. We also had a Winter bomb (99 Volvo S70) and I had and still have my 98 Ranger 4wd. I tried to talk her into a new roadster of some sort. We look at the Z4 (although never test drove one, that's another story) we test drove a brand new Miata and she could never decide to spend any $$$ on a new car. After what i thought would be a friendly "going our own ways" I decided....it all about me now!' I have been driving a 10 year old truck and simpy drove to the nearest BMW dealer and bought my dream car, a jet black Z4. SHE absolutely hates me now, she even admitted cause due to me buying a Z4. BTW...SHE still has the 99' Miata!
In my new town... I was at the Post Office for the first time. As I was exiting the PO, I followed a vehicle in the right hand lane taking a left. The PO had a one way exit, left lane for turning left, right lane for turning right of left in my case. A 3rd vehicle coming up on our left to turn left had an attitude cause I (and also the truck in front of me) was in the right lane (actually the wrong lane:^) He yellled at me as I was pulling out (BTW all 3 of us got out at once) "get in the right lane!!!" and rode my a$$ down the road! I remained calm (to many a surprise) and simply did the speed limit!
We get up to a traffic light now turning red. He pulls up next to me and starts the BS.... "You think you're cool in your german sports car!" He went on for a minute... (now he's driving a F250) "why don't you buy AMERICAN!!?
I looked at the ahole and said..." Hey! I also drive a Ford truck, where was yours made? Canada or Mexico????"

The look on his face was priceless!
Also.... I'm 46 years old! The next @%@& ahole that says "MID LIFE CRISIS" is gonna get choked! lol

people have this stupid misconception that they should promote american products by only buying american products. which is the most fucking ridiculous thing i've ever heard.

there are trade agreements governing international trade. trade between countries have to be equivalent or based on an agreement. if we stop buying german products then germans will not be able to buy our products either, which will kill american products. ignorance
