Same issue here Doc. Sure it will be resolved with an update eventually. I just do the hour shift twice a year by hand until then. It keeps very good time otherwise.

After I set my clock on the second screen, I noticed that the clock on my dashboard is a minute behind. It’s like the dash display did the time change correctly, but the infotainment screen did not.

I’m going to keep the settings as they are until BMW fixes this bug. I’M using Apple CarPlay and Waze as the workaround. At least the center console will have the right time.

My experience on a X5 G05 is that doesn't even work when you're driving across time zones using the car GPS. It knows you crossed time zones and doesn't do anything.

Hopefully, my submitted bug for geolocation through TestBirds will also fix this problem.

Anytime I enable auto time, the time zone changes and I can’t change it back. Completely the wrong time zone for the location I’m in.

My clock issue is a bit different
Hello everyone,
I'm a first time BMW owner and new to the forum. I purchased a 2024 X5 M Sport last week, and trying to become better acquainted with all of the features. My clock is currently an hour off, and I cannot change it manually. When I go into the clock settings, the sections to change are grayed out and a message comes up "function not available". Any suggestions on how to get around that are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

You’re in the forum for the 5-series and not the X5, but there have been a lot of issues with time setting as you can see from this thread. Make sure your automatic time setting is off in order to adjust the time manually. |

Just checking in: Are we all still having the issues with the clock time setting?
I sure am. Just using Apple CarPlay as the workaround. |

Old thread, I know... but the software update to 03/2024.57 seems to have fixed the automatic time zone setting for me.
