We have ChargePoint chargers at work. I thought I would try one out. I have the app, it’s in my wallet and linked to ApplePay. I tapped my phone, it connected and told me that it won’t work with my BMW i5 M60.

Has anyone encountered this?

I have used ChargePoint many times with my m60 with no issue. That’s very strange.

I’ve taken to Chargepoint more since the difficulty I’ve experienced with Electrify America. No issues on my end.

1. Could it be Apple Pay? Maybe try a credit card?

2. Is the charger a CCS version as opposed to ChaDemo or something else?

It was definitely CCS. I’ll try again next time I’m at the office.

I use ChargePoint all the time - they’re at my office. No issues for me.
