Vacation charging
I’m going on vacation to Thailand and will be gone for 23 days, I was wondering should I leave my car charging or should just let it stand at 80% and recharge it when I get back home?

The user manual says leave the vehicle battery level at 30-50%

I’ve left my car for a couple of weeks at the airport at ~50% SOC without issue, didn’t lose any charge in that time. I don’t think you need to worry about charging it while you’re away, and it doesn’t need to be charged to a higher SOC.

I'll be leaving for holiday next month for about 3-4 weeks. I am planning to leave my car in my garage at around 35%-40% state of charge and unplugged. Just to be on the safe side.

Maybe lock the car too, so it "goes to sleep" and keep the key fob far away, so no communication attempts between the car and fob.
This is what I do when parking ICE or EV for any length of time. |
