I picked up some M3 style 67 wheels. For $300. For my wife’s 2002 E46 325Ci
But had to cleanup previous rash repair. But she also want so much better so didn’t want to spent the $600 I was quoted. So i tried it
Not perfect
But ok

Great job! Vast improvement, and likely unnoticeable to most people. Did you use grit sandpaper, a flapper wheel or something else?

80 grit 180 1500 and 3000
Then I used a wall pad for my drill, but my drill was not fast enough so I used the micro 2 inch pads from Adams micro polisher but when the battery went dead for about 10 inches left I use my hand and surprisingly I guess because I use 3000 to get the glass With microfiber towel polish
Use mothers mag wheel polish
Now going to look for some used tires with at least 50% that car gets driven very little by the wife 2 to 3000 a year unless I find a good deal on some Perelli‘s or Michelin’s
