I mentioned it when we picked up the Z4 and our installer said sure we can do that! I'll check with him and post specifics here. Wish I would have thought about it first!

Not on my current car but I did on my 2021 M2C from new until about year 2 when it was sold. No issues at all. Xpel film. Pretty sure it saved one of them too from a massive rock hit. Left a small "scab" in the ppf, but light output never impacted. The M2C icon LEDs were also peak BMW headlights for me. The laser lights to me are just a tad lacking. I think this could be because US spec lasers are neutered.

Ck out Amazon xpel shadow line for headlights. There r 3 different shades. U r installer can do it or u can. My guy told me to ck it out he can do it (for a price) or I can... imo it's worth it, both apperance and protection wise.

https://www.xpel.com/web-assets/down...oke-TDS-50.pdf Found it in clear, 25%, 35% and 50%VLT(visible light transmission). Does this mean that it will reduce the brightness of the headlights by 75%,65% or 50% respectively? Don’t think that would be a good thing. Am I misunderstanding this? |

I would never consider putting a tint PPF on my headlights. When I drive at night, I want maximum visibility on the road!
