I have been more interested lately in the BMW i5 as a possible replacement for my 2023 540i.

I have built them online and looked at the ordering guides, and I am surprised that there is no available option for the adaptive dampers or 4WS on the i5 eDrive40 models.

Does anyone know if these options will become available?

I find it funny how much BMW like to vary things by region. Here in AU you can’t get the edrive40 without the adaptive dampers or IAS

Perhaps BMW NA doesn't believe we should have a choice, and make these options only available to very limited models. I, for one, won't be getting a G60 550e without being properly equipped. And an EV is just not happening for me at this time.

I’m also interested in another 540i but I’d like the adaptive suspension and 4WS.
