I am still learning the many features of the i5, which is a fun discovery journey. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever spent so long in a car without driving - especially since I can turn it on in a garage without worrying about fumes.

I still cannot find the link to Youtube, though. It does not appear in the apps list, whether the car is stopped or not. I have Youtube music, but not Youtube proper. Is it because I am in Canada?

Anyone else experiencing the same?

There’s definitely a You Tube app in the U.S., so it could be your location.

I thought so - I hope in the future we'll be authorized too, but I know any regulation can time a very long time... I'll default to watching on my phone during charges.

If you think about it, it doesn’t make sense. I currently have a Tesla and it has YouTube, Netflix, etc. I’m in Canada.

So probably BMW just being difficult/lazy.

In my i5 M60 in Florida, after activating my existing BMW ID, it took couple of days almost a full week before Tivo app (video) and YouTube, Air Console Games etc all showed up days and days later

I could confirm that after 5 months of ownership in Canada, still no YouTube
