75% energy smart
I changed out all the lights to GE energy smart bulbs. I choose the DayLight 6500K color (Cool Natural Light) instead of the Soft White. I like the 6500K color alot more. It was hard getting these lights as not many stores sell the 6500K color and they only come in 40, 60, 75, 100 equivalent WATT. A GE energy smart 10WATT bulb is like a regular 40 WATT bulb.
The only bulbs I did not change were the bathroom vanity lights and the chandelier in the entry way and dining room and flood/reset light in the kitcken. It is hard to find energy smart bulbs with 6500K color for these. I just got them so I wont know how much $$ I will save in electric bill. I spent a total of $40 on the energy smart bulbs and I feel great knowing I not sucking up all the juices when I turn on the light. Becareful with these energy smart bulb as many of them have mercury in them so handle with care.

The 6500k are nice in kitchen and laundry rooms, but look too florescent-y to look nice in other places IMO..they kind of kill the mood you can create w/good lighting (i.e. they're too 'cool'). Then again, some of the other energy eff. lights look way too yellow to me and are annoying.
