Hi All,

I read in another post that MY25 for the G60 was starting on June 24th, 2024.

I'm kind of holding out on my first BMW purchase until the 2025 model comes out; somewhat because I'm curious whether or not they'll provide any additional optional equipment and secondly because I like the numerology of a 5 in 2025

Based on your experiences, when can we expect to see the Ordering Guide for MY25 appear?

If SOP is 6/24, I wonder when the order guide would be available, though? Is that typically prior to SOP?

Yes, the ordering guide will be available at least one month before, I think May.

But if you are waiting for MY25, based on the delivery schedule, you won't be able to drive it before 10/24. It will arrive in 2-3 months from the date of ordering, assuming your dealer has current allocations.

Is that typical during the start of production for a new model year? Just curious, how the process works. Do they start accumulating inventory to 'launch' in October? And then work in custom orders as that date nears?

Yes, would also very much like to see it myself. We just have to remember that equipment and packages for the US will likely be different.

MY25 order/pricing guide should arrive in May time frame, production start in July 2024, and delivered in Aug/Sept. Dont forget all models require EPA certification before release - BEV's should move faster through the process i assume.

I'm curious as to why the 2025 i5 xDrive online build options don't have the "2 years of complimentary 30-min charging sessions with Electrify America" listed as part of the Accessories while the eDrive40 and M60 do. Will the ordering guide shed light on this?

Why would the MY25 not be delivered before October if built in late June or early July? That happened with the MY24 only because it was held for worldwide new model launch date in late Oct 2024. In the 2nd production year it would just flow as normal other than potential issues causing a stop sale.
