Is it your understanding from this that purchasers of the 530 cannot order the 4UR option even as an upgrade?

If so, that's yet another reason to spring for the extra $4k to get the B58 6 cylinder engine as well as other, smaller upgrades including 4UR.

4UR was never an upgrade. It was an NC-free option instead of ambient light.

Yeah, its 7K difference for me as I'm going with 530i not x-drive. Already have 24 LCI X5. B48 is good enough.

I don’t think I’ve seen any good video/images of the 530i ambient lighting at night.
